First Casualty of St. Louis County Smoking Ban

The bar Ice and Fuel in West County has become the first casualty of the St. Louis County smoking ban. The owners said they could not sign a long term lease due to the threat of the upcoming smoking ban. Ice and Fuel in Kirkwood reported a 15 percent loss due to the Kirkwood smoking ban a while back. The West County Ice and Fuel could not take a chance on those sorts of losses. The bar had a farewell party last night and no longer answers its phone.
